The Hajar Foundation was born from love, from understanding, and from a refusal to look away. We exist to make sure the children the world misunderstands are instead seen, supported, and given the future they deserve.
A legacy of love and understanding.
Our foundation didn't begin in a boardroom; it began with a deeply personal connection.
It started when I fell in love with a woman whose life's work was dedicated to supporting children in need. Through her eyes, I got to see the incredible brilliance, unique personalities, and boundless potential of the kids she worked with every single day.
But alongside the joy and breakthroughs of her work, I also witnessed her deepest heartache. The most painful part of her days never came from the children themselves — it came from the world around them. She shared devastating stories of how profoundly these kids were misunderstood by society, by their communities, and sometimes even by those closest to them. She saw their actions misinterpreted as misbehavior, their sensory needs ignored, and their true selves hidden behind society's rigid expectations.
Above all, she bestowed upon me a gift I can never truly repay: the faith, the opening of my eyes and my heart towards the real truth.
To honor her dedication, her relentless effort, and her memory, I created this foundation in her name.
This organization is both a dedication to Hajar's life's work and a testament to my unwavering love and affection for her.
I built this foundation to carry her mission forward — to change the narrative, dismantle the stigmas she fought against every day, and educate society so that every child is met with the empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding she so fiercely believed they deserved.
